'Sales Consultant - Audio Visual' key responsibilities:

  • Responding to leads and qualifying them via phone, video call, email etc.
  • Attending client meetings and providing hardware/equipment demonstrations to clients
  • Establishing client needs such as budget, whilst achieving profitable sales margins
  • Producing accurate quotes and proposals
  • Ensuring general sales admin is carried out and reflected on the CRM system.
  • Be able to confidently sell the companies wide range of solutions and services
  • Attending weekly and monthly sales meetings

'Sales Consultant - Audio Visual' key skills:

  • Strong AV sales experience into end users
  • In depth knowledge of and demonstrable experience with the sales process, excelling at lead generation, relationship building and closing
  • Able to obtain clear technical briefs from prospective clients and translate these into workable, cost effective and profitable solutions
  • P roven track record of meeting and exceeding challenging targets and KPIs.
  • Exceptional sales presentation skills and prior experience in product demonstrations of hardware and/or software. Preferably within the AV industry
  • Experience with Connectwise or Hubspot is advantageous
  • Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) qualification

AV System Designer - Commercial

They are looking for a creative designer to join their AV design team in creating CAD drawings, schematics and plans for Commercial AV Installations into a range of sites.

AV System Designer – Commercial AV, Key Responsibilities:

  • Producing Schematics, AV positional layout drawings and Rack layout drawings.
  • Production of bespoke metal work design
  • Producing Cable and Components listings, including first fix cable schedules
  • Keeping up to date with any project changes and developments
  • Occasional site attendance
  • New product testing and the main point of contact for Video Conference testing.

Due to company expansion, they are looking for a passionate and energetic AV Project Manager to join their team.

The company offer an "all in one" solution to clients, they are responsible for pioneering some of the first digital integrated solutions for exhibitions and events around the world.

Project Manager Key Responsibilities

  • The successful Project Manager will be working alongside the Operations Manager in overseeing all aspects of the project/event from planning through to delivery.
  • Not only will you be responsible for Project Management, you will also be managing any sub-contractors ensuring high standards are kept at all times.
  • You will be responsible for organising and delivering post event review meetings.
  • Maintaining control over project/event costs, keeping in line with budgets whilst ensuring projects are meeting specified profit margins.
  • Working heavily with technical drawings and stand/set plans, including CAD drawings and 3D visualizations.
  • Assisting with the procurement on all projects/events, including the sourcing and management of supplies.

Project Manager Key Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a project manager role
  • Must have hands on experience as a Technician or Engineer within the Audio Visual/Exhibition/Events industry
  • Experience creating and reading CAD drawings and 3D visualizations.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects from start to finish
  • Knowledge of the Exhibition and Live events industry is essential, including design and build.
  • Somebody who brings fresh ideas to the business, identifying and driving new business opportunities.
  • Proactive in keeping up with AV/IT technology and industry trends
  • Full clean UK driving licence

Technical Events Manager

Salary: 25000 - 35000 per annum | Type: Permanent | England - London

Technical Events Manager - Audio Visual

Location:  London

Salary up to £35k + Excellent Benefits including clothing allowance


Due to continued growth our established client who is a market leader in producing live and corporate events, have a brand-new position for a 'Technical Events Manager' to join their team. 


'Technical Events Manager' Role:

This role is the interface between our client and their customer.  Your responsibilities for many aspects of the relationship which includes: Account management, Customer care and the AV technical support they require.

  • Main point of contact for clients on a day-to-day basis to ensure customer expectations and requirements are fulfilled.
  • Along with the technicians you will prepare, rig and de-rig equipment prior to events within the hotel/venue and be available on-site for ad hoc technical issues
  • Pro-actively contact clients well in advance of their event to develop and build sales potential, interpret technical solutions, arranging meetings where necessary to establish their requirements.
  • Monitors sales files to review upcoming groups and to ensure that sales processes are followed
  • Report to the hotel/venue and attend weekly staff meetings within the hotel/venue to ensure that communication does not break down at any stage.


The 'Technical Events Manager' will have the following skills:

  • At least 3 year of audiovisual experience working with AV equipment is essential (audio, video, lighting or rigging)
  • 5 GCSEs or equivalent (including Maths and English A – C grades) is essential
  • A HNC, bachelor degree or equivalent, in an AV related subject or hospitality based subject would be desirable
  • At least 4 year of customer service or hospitality experience is desirable 
  • Experience of leading a workflow and team members
  • Live within a 1 hour commute of Central London
  • Ability to work flexibly between locations and working hours
