Hosting and Infrastructure Consultant Key Skills:

  • 5+ years system admin experience within a 'Windows Enterprise' environment, ideally as a 'Technical Consultant' or a 'Solutions Architect' working on an 'On-Premise infrastructure or cloud solutions.
  • You will have advanced knowledge of DHCP, DNS, GPO etc...
  • A great problem solver who has a methodical and logical approach alongside a functional understanding of; LAN switching, Enterprise storage, Hyper V, deployment and migration to Azure, AWS etc...
  • Recent experience in designing multi-vendor 'Enterprise Datacentre and Cloud solutions with the extra expertise of being able to cross platform to hybrid cloud environments.
  • Excellent communication essential.

Hosting and Infrastructure Consultant role overview:

The 'Hosting and Infrastructure' role works in collaboration with internal teams, stakeholders and customers.

At the start of the customer engagement, you would be involved with the Pre sales (understanding feasibility), provide Technical consultancy to customers, Technical support to the operational frontline teams, defining strategy all the way through to Post Sales.

This position would suit someone who has established themselves as a 'Technical go to person' in a Managed Services businesses, in a similar role or who is on their way up in their career with a minimum of 5 years relevant exposure. Penetration Tester

Salary: £50k - £75k depending on experience

Location: Central London, London (SE1)

We are recruiting on behalf of an innovative, forward thinking 'Information & Risk Management' company based in Central London and due to fantastic growth and further opportunities they now seek to recruit a ‘Penetration Tester'.


In this ‘Penetration Tester’ role you will be providing a wide range of services including security vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, research, analysis on a consultancy basis for SME’s clients.


Key responsibilities for the 'Penetration Tester' position:

  • Identify, exploit and document security flaws and vulnerabilities with Penetration Tests.
  • Ability to test a variety of client form factors and technologies based on scopes of work.
  • Ability to solve complex technical problems and articulate to non-IT personnel.
  • Ability to effectively provide technical risk assessment of technologies in networks applications and wireless.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, utilizing tools commercial and open source tools.
  • Perform, review and analyse security vulnerability data to identify applicability and false positives.
  • Research and develop testing tools, techniques, and process improvements.
  • Writing technical reports that include suggested fixes for identified problem areas.


Experience and Skills required for the 'Penetration Tester' role:

  • 5 years experience with hands on Penetration Testing.
  • Experience with application and network penetration testing (preferred)
  • Experience with managing client projects and building client relationships.
  • Experienced with writing reports and making remedial recommendations.
  • Knowledge of security guidelines including ISO, PCI and GDPR.
  • Ability to meet pressurised deadlines and time constraints.
  • Strong verbal, communication and technical writing abilities.
  • Certified Ethical Hacker qualification (preferred)
