The ideal candidate for this role will come from a senior procurement position, within a global organisation. Due to our client's significant growth, you will be a strong leader who has been exposed to significant change, and been part of creating a strategic unification post company acquisitions

Procurement Director / Head of Procurement Skills:


  • Relevant qualification such as CIPS/ISM
  • Significant demonstrable Senior Procurement experience
  • Proven track record in developing and leading large organisations and teams with multi-site, global procurement to include Raw Materials and Consumables
  • Clear communication skills to drive the Procurement strategies across the entire business
  • Exception analytical skills and commercially astute

Procurement Director / Head of Procurement role:


  • Formulating and delivering on the existing and future function at a tactical and strategic level
  • Deliver specific and complex procurement objectives in multiple sites and business units
  • Supporting multiple business stakeholders with operational and financial targets whilst utilising the current group buying power with new and existing key market suppliers
  • Reviewing and improving existing policies and procedures of the Global group procurement function
  • Engage with divisional/corporate stakeholders to influence critical supplier relationships to maximise global commercial leverage
  • Be the go to lead for due diligence procurement support of any potential acquisition targets - Driving cost synergies from internal and potential new groups
  • Mitigate against continuity supply risks that could impact the company

Hire Coordinator - Audio Visual 

Salary: £23k to £30k depending on experience

Due to significant growth they now seek a 'Hire Coordinator' to join their friendly and results orientated team. The main purpose of the 'Hire Coordinator' position would be to manage the allocation of lighting and rigging equipment to support project requirements.

 

The main responsibilities of the 'Hire Coordinator' include:


  • Managing the equipment requirements and acting as the primary contact between project and warehouse teams.
  • Sourcing equipment via selected third-party suppliers when needed.
  • Ensuring that equipment requirements are correctly identified
  • Carrying out stock audits to ensure the stock management system is accurate.
  • Work alongside the project team on efficient and streamlined equipment administration process and working to agreed deadlines.
  • Equipment planning and finding best possible solution for potential challenges such as equipment shortages, changes in clients' requirements and schedules.
  • Being a friendly point of contact to provide support to internal teams

 

The skills and experience needed for the 'Hire Coordinator' position:


  • Experience of working within the live events industry.
  • Knowledge and experience with Lighting and Rigging equipment.
  • Experience sourcing equipment using a stock control systems.
  • Advanced MS Office applications skills- Outlook, Excel, Word.
  • Ability to work well within teams and independently.
  • Your ability to plan ahead, organise, prioritise, delegate and oversee workload.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, demonstrating resilience, flexibility and ability to maintain positive relationships.
  • Can-do positive attitude and great communication skills.
  • Experience with Easy Job and Warehouse Management System.
