Remarkable Jobs are delighted to be working with a creative and talented design agency based in the centre of High Wycombe. They are looking to recruit an experienced ‘Digital Designer’ to join their already strong and creative team.

The ‘Digital Designer’ will be working with International clients to take their briefs into creative and immersive digital designs. You will be managing multiple creative projects at any one time, all the way from concepts to completed designs.


Main responsibilities for the ‘Digital Designer’:

  • Produce a wide range of digital design projects. This includes responsive website designs, UI/UX, branding, and more.
  • Attending face to face client meetings independently to gain design brief and discuss project concepts.
  • Interpreting and developing brand guidelines based on client feedback.
  • Managing multiple projects from the first brief all the way through to the completed project.
  • Working closely with a development team to deliver your web experience.


The skills and experience needed for the ‘Digital Designer’ role:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a digital focussed design position.
  • Strong Adobe Creative Suite experience (XD and Sketch would be a bonus!)
  • A creative mind with the ability to take exciting briefs and then produce incredible immersive online experiences.
  • A willingness to learn and input in team creative discussions.
  • Experience of responsive website design, user experience and user interaction design.
  • A fun, pro-active and engaging personality. Deliver great work, but to do that you must enjoy it!

Carpenter - Events / Production

In this 'Carpenter' role you will be a key part of ensuring the scenery department is delivering innovative and flawless event execution for corporate clients throughout the UK and Internationally.

They are seeking both junior and senior 'Carpenter' candidates.


The Key Responsibilities for the 'Carpenter' role:

  • Fabrication of set, decorative items, signs and staging to the highest standards.
  • Managing a team of production staff to ensure the highest level of build standards are met.
  • Interpreting visual designs and briefs and then providing advice and guidance to ensure they created accurately.
  • Attend briefing meetings with clients and be proactive in providing ideas and suggestions.
  • Working within a Budget and meeting deadlines.
  • Hands on set building.
  • Ensuring a safe working environment by operating within current Health & Safety regulations.


Key Skills required for the 'Carpenter' role:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in one of the following areas Events, Conferences, Product Launches and Award ceremonies.
  • A recognised relevant Carpentry formal qualification.
  • Read and understand technical drawings.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong problem solving skills with the ability to make critical decisions when necessary.
  • An understanding of Health & Safety issues and COSHH

Our client is led by a great team of innovative people who are using ‘out of the box ideas’ to create and deliver both on and off-line campaigns to a variety of sectors.

We are on the lookout for a driven, passionate and determined Mid-Weight Designer to join an existing close knit team.

This ‘Mid-weight Designer’ would be working alongside the Creative Head to deliver larger projects, new business and pitches when they arise, but mainly working day to day on a portfolio of your own clients.


Main Responsibilities of the ‘Mid-Weight Designer’ position:

  • Produce a wide range of design material including print, digital, website and more.
  • Managing your own portfolio of clients projects.
  • Interpreting and developing brand guidelines, from corporate guidelines to brand style of websites and existing materials alongside a basic brand card.
  • Able to demonstrate ‘blank page’ conceptual design thinking.
  • Working across a wide range of media such as Creative Suite, PowerPoint, animation storyboards, CMS design & WordPress.
  • Owning projects from start to completion.
  • Working closely with artworkers and developers to deliver the design visions.


Experience and Skills required for the ‘Mid-weight Designer’ role:

  • At least 2 years’ experience working within a similar design position.
  • Strong experience with the Adobe suite, including Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
  • You will be confident dealing with clients and at ease with pitching concepts and discussing strategy.
  • Your expertise will cover a multitude of design disciplines including, branding, layout and desktop publishing.
  • Willingness to broaden your skill base and grow with the company.

Senior Production Designer

Due to rapid expansion in their London office, they are looking for an experienced 'Senior Production Designer' to join their ambitious team.


The 'Senior Production Designer' will have an integral role within the design team, to create, design and produce high-end live events. The ideal candidate for the 'Senior Production Designer' position will have a creative background and experience within event production.


The main responsibilities for the 'Senior Production Designer' role:

- Working closely with Project and Technical Managers for the planning and delivery of live events.

- Attending client meetings and site visits to take site measurements of venues.

- Working confidently with clients in a professional and friendly manner.

- Full event design from the development of initial ideas through to the completed design

- Production of detailed floor plans, creative mood boards and visuals for clients.

- Producing 3D renders (ideally within Vectorworks) or hand drawn illustrations.

- Handling suppliers, from sourcing, contacting and managing them.

- Managing the design budgets.

- Designing and formatting artwork such as backdrops and presentations whilst managing the delivery of all graphics with complete accuracy.

- Sourcing materials and organising the hire of furniture, drape, staging etc.

- Onsite management and delivery.


The skills and experienced needed for the 'Senior Production Designer' position:

- At least 3 years' experience within event production.

- An understanding of technical production is desirable.

- Proficient in Adobe Suite, in particular Illustrator & Photoshop.

- Experience with CAD is essential, we use Vectorworks.

- Experience working in a fast-paced, challenging and client facing environment.

- The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

- Strong relationship management experience with clients.

- A proactive, creative and imaginative problem-solver with a good eye for detail.

- Ability to work collaboratively alongside team members and effectively on your own.

- Possess an imaginative and creative mindset, with a keen interest in design.

- Computer literate, preferably with experience in Mac but not essential.
